How exciting that we won Best Drama, and Best Female Director at the Rome Music Awards this December 2022! A great Christmas present. The cast and crew worked so hard to get this video across the line. It is wonderful to see that viewers appreciate the story being told, as well as the music, and the fabulous vocalists; an autistic adults journey from childhood to his music career! Based on the true life story of Kevin Walsh.

Embrace the World went to NUMBER 1

Production Manager Yvonne Coughlan was delighted to announce that the single had gone to Number One on the iTunes charts at the Official Launch with As I Am at Windmill Lane, where the event was facilitated by Core Media, to a live audience physically present, but also via live streaming and an interactive online meeting open to further guests and extended audience. The pre-launch event at Dance Cork Firkin Crane, was an invited audience of cast, crew, vocalists, friends and family. A highlight for Kevin was the standing ovation on this first private viewing of the music video. Kevin also gave several live performances between the interviews with the actors, vocalists and crew by host Yvonne. This was a pivotal and moving event on the Embrace the World calendar.

We're now marking the date of our music recording at Kitten Lane Studio, Cork. Weds. 28th April, 2021. Amazing day of incredibly talented people, coming together in music, despite social distancing requirements, and additional H & S protocols. Everybody worked so hard, and Aidan O'Mahony will be creating that final mix to guide our vocalists, who will record remotely, and send their tracks in over the summer. A million thanks to the band! All systems are go!!!
AsIAm Ireland’s National Autism Charity works to create a society in which every autistic person is empowered to reach their own personal potential and fully participate in society. AsIAm believe that by developing the capacity of the autism community and addressing the societal barriers to inclusion we can all make Ireland the world’s most autism-friendly country. What began, in 2014, as an online platform for the community to access information and share experiences has quickly grown into a movement for change for the autism community. Today, AsIAm is Ireland’s most influential autism charity with a team of 14 staff, half of whom are themselves autistic.

Kieran’s ward funding sponsorship of the band recording at Kitten Lane studio is an integral part of this project and we are hugely grateful. We look forward to announcing further news of our sponsors as we build the project!
